Please come and join us for an afternoon of drinking tea, eating delicious cake and talking openly about death at Norwich's very first Death Cafe.
The afternoon will be hosted by Su Squire and Kayla St Claire who both have direct experience of the death of a loved one as well as a shared interest in exploring death through their creative work.
As a storyteller, Su believes that stories play a vital role in our understanding of death and is currently developing a project which aims to share this with a wider audience.
Kayla is a performance artist who has recently created a piece of work which explores the way in which our connection with the soil through gardening can transform the grieving process.
The afternoon will begin with the telling of a short story before moving on to informal conversation of whatever aspects of death may arise.
