In a comment on the post below Charles Cowling, overseer of the wonderful Good Funeral Guide blog, asks an interesting question:


"When does healthy awareness [of death] stray into morbid preoccupation?"

    Been thinking about this for a few days and the only conclusion I've come to is - when it stops being helpful.
