8th September, 11.30am and 4pm at the Joy of Death Festival, Bournemouth

Our next Death Cafes will be at the wonderfully named Joy of Death Festival on the 8th September in Bournemouth.
This groundbreaking and uniquely English festival is the brainchild of Brian Jenner and Charles Cowling who is the producer of the amazing Good Funeral Guide book and blog.
There is a great programme in addition to our 2 Death Cafes on Saturday 8th. On Friday 7th there will be a Good Funeral Guide Awards Ceremony with categories including 'The Eternal Slumber Award for Coffin Supplier of the Year' which is apparently being filmed by Sky. On Saturday there is a conference with some of the best speakers from the cutting edge of UK death including Rupert and Claire Callender and Kristie West.

I'm very interested but I can't find any 'contact us' link or any information on your locations...the one place named, Bournemouth, ...I don't even know which COUNTRY that is!

ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. Yes, you're completely right that there is no info about the country etc. here. These Death Cafes are happening in the UK. Death Cafe is growing quickly and it is easy to forget we have an audience across different continents! I am working on a new Death Cafe website and this will hopefully make things much clearer.
